There are two spacious and comfortable bedrooms at The Duck House. Each is beautifully furnished with antique furniture. Fine wallpapers and ornaments add a warm and welcome ambience with a touch of old world luxury.
Living Areas
The Duck House provides you with a fully equipped kitchen, a breakfast room, lounge and formal dining room. You really do have a home away from home. Of course it’s impossible to do full justice to The Duck House in these web pages. We hope you’ll visit us soon and discover that it’s even better than it sounds. There is ducted heating throughout the cottage. This will keep you very toasty in winter. A cosy but amply spacious lounge room provides a pleasantly quiet location to read the daily newspaper or watch television. The country style breakfast room adjoins a modern kitchen. Perfect for informal meals.
Antique Bathroom with Character
You’ll love the rich gold and brass fittings. The genuine claw-foot bath with sparkling gold and burgundy exterior lends an additional “olde worlde” elegance. Thick fluffy bath towels are accompanied by boutique soaps and essences because we want you to pamper yourselves at The Duck House. The modern convenience of a large hot shower has not been forgotten. The Duck House boasts free WiFi.
Backyard and Outdoors
Step through the kitchen door and you’ll find a sunny green garden at the rear of The Duck House. This is a communal garden space shared by all three of our cottages. Like to cook? Help yourself to our selection of fresh garden herbs, fruit and vegetables which include lemons, limes, tomatoes, rosemary and sage.
